Description

Education & Experience

At least 1 year of experience in maintenance, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
Technical certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is a plus.
Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate information clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Ability to work well in high-pressure situations and maintain composure under stress.
Must demonstrate initiative in job performance, anticipating maintenance needs proactively.
Must effectively handle workplace problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary.
Strong ability to assimilate complex information from various sources and adapt solutions to meet specific needs.
Effective listening skills to understand and clarify issues raised by guests and staff.

Requirements

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty.

Comply with certification requirements applicable to the position, including safety and maintenance certifications.

Possess thorough knowledge of hotel systems and equipment, ensuring they are maintained according to Fordson Hotel standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest room facilities and respond promptly to maintenance requests, addressing guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to guests during maintenance activities.
