Are you a Registered Nurse who enjoys building relationships with patients and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team?  Our busy gastroenterology clinic is looking for an exceptional RN who is compassionate, organized, dependable and committed to providing outstanding patient care.  

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys the clinical side of nursing but is also looking for work life balance and a predictable Monday thru Friday schedule in an outpatient setting.  

Requirements

• Provide professional, compassionate nursing care to gastroenterology patients
• Assess patient needs and communicate concerns to providers
• Perform telephone triage and respond to patient questions and concerns
• Review test and procedure results and communicate provider recommendations to patients
• Coordinate follow up care, testing, procedures and referrals
• Provide patient education 
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Work collaboratively with the entire gastroenterology team to provide an excellent patient experience 
• Can prioritize multiple patient needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Understands the importance of confidentiality and HIPAA

Previous gastroenterology or outpatient clinic experience is a plus, but great nurses from other clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Current Registered Nurse licensure is required.
