Commercial Finance Banking Legal Administrative Assistant

Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Cincinnati, OH location who will support multiple attorneys in connection with Commercial Finance and Banking. Candidates should have strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, be highly organized and possess a desire to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

Help to manage individual attorney calendars which could include scheduling meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements; learn departmental docketing system as necessary
Open and maintain client files
Provide clerical support to the attorneys and paralegals
Coordinate the monthly client billing process
Provide backup overflow assistance to legal administrative assistants as needed
Preparation and formatting of legal documents and correspondence

Requirements

Have familiarity with commercial finance loan terminology and loan types
Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Office Suite, pdf editing software, and related legal software
Experience using attorney timekeeping and document management systems a plus
Familiarity with basic online resources
Possess strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task
Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
