Day/Noc Caregiver-Behavioral Health

Elite Care at Oatfield Estates, located in Milwaukie off Oatfield Road, prides itself on being different. As a caregiver with us, you will provide daily care to our residents by supporting their daily activities of living. This includes bathing/bathroom assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement and monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavioral needs, and overall necessities of our residents.

Work Location: 4444 SE Oatfield Hill Rd, Milwaukie, OR 97267

Shift: Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, 6-6. Wednesday is a half-day.

Compensation: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour. $2/hour shift differential for noc shift.

Caregiver Responsibilities: (not limited to)

• Assisting residents with ADLS
• Teamwork, cooperation, training & development
• Assist clients with personal care, which may include (but is not limited to):
  • Bathing/Bathroom Assistance
  • Morning/Evening Preparations
  • Morning/Evening Dress and attire
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and overall needs of clients
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for both residents and colleagues
• Ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and ambulate quickly and often throughout a regular shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check with the State of Oregon.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months' experience in behavioral health or similar preferred
• Speak, read and write English fluently
• Value and respect of those in long-term care
• Have consistent attendance/reliable method of transportation
• Ability to correspond and document properly in charts and portal
