CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
(Upholstery/Wood)

The Customer Service Representative will provide customer service support exclusively to the company's retail store employees and Bassett sales representatives. We need an enthusiastic and articulate individual who can listen to each service issue and offer a solution. The successful associate will have a strong command of the Company’s customer service policies, and be well trained in product knowledge, which is critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to store employees. This role does not involve direct interaction with external customers. This position is based at our Upholstery headquarters in Newton, NC.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver internal customer service by managing phone and email inquiries from sales reps and Bassett retail store associates across company locations regarding product issues, service questions and general concerns.
· Maintain a high level of professionalism with clients and work to establish a positive rapport with every caller.
· Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and to check if there is a question about the status of an order.
· Enter parts orders, customer orders as well as issuing repairs and returns for customers.
Qualifications/Skills:
· Prior customer service experience in furniture preferred
· High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a business related field preferred)
· Ability to remain “cool headed”, professional and courteous with customers at all times
· Ability to communicate effectively with management
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
