Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys providing individualized care and helping patients improve their mobility, function, and independence.

As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support positive patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients' strength, range of motion, functional mobility, balance, coordination, and other physical abilities based on their diagnosis, precautions, and individual needs.
• Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, transfers, function, and independence.
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress throughout treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and treatment units.
• Identify patient needs and develop appropriate solutions to challenges encountered during assessment and treatment.
• Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team regarding patient treatment, goals, progress, and discharge recommendations.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safe and effective rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with professional and organizational standards.

Schedule

• PRN – As Needed
• Monday–Friday
• Flexible scheduling based on clinic and patient needs

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Mississippi Physical Therapy license required.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
