As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, vehicle storage areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors in accordance with site policies.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
