Marion County Meals Delivery Driver

Job Purpose:
- Delivering meals and other assigned items to clients in the Marion County area using personal or company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering ordered meals and other assigned items to clients in Marion County using personal or company vehicle.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to clients, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and colleagues.
- Conduct routine checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling meals.
- Assist clients with meal-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve service efficiency.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience:
- Knowledge of Marion County streets, roads, highways, and ability to navigate using a map

Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with older adults and handicapped individuals

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be 18 years old
- Own a reliable vehicle
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record
- Adequate vehicle insurance
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
- Ability to read, write, and navigate using a map or GPS
