Heavy Equipment Operator (supporting NASA)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.

SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment such as:

cranes,
clamshells,
power shovels,
motor graders,
heavy loaders,
carryalls,
bulldozers,
rollers,
scrapers, and
large industrial tractors with pan or scrapper attachments.

Equipment is used to:

excavate,
load, or
move dirt, gravel, or other materials.

Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans, and may grease, adjust, and make emergency repairs to equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 4 experience performing as a Heavy Equipment Operator
