General Position Summary:

This position provides Spectacular Service to all store guests and is responsible for positive and knowledgeable interactions focused on customer service and information sharing.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Completes retail sales transactions (credit card and point of sale) in compliance with established policies and procedures
• Possesses a strong level of telephone etiquette
• Demonstrates knowledge of cannabis products and strains to include Sativa, Indica and Hybrids
• Provides recommendations regarding appropriate usage and dosage based on method of consumption
• Updates management regularly on customer buying patterns and interactions
• Demonstrates an understanding of regulatory compliance and upholds all policies and procedures unique to the industry
• Actively promotes spectacular customer service and aides in creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Promotes a professional demeanor in all interactions and transactions
• Responds to guest’s questions regarding flowers, strains, creams, oils, waxes, concentrates, edibles, tinctures, vape/e-pens
• Stocks product
• Actively identifies areas for cost savings

Secondary Functions:

• Responsible to maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

• Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid State of Washington Driver’s License
• Experience and/or education in the cannabis industry to include store product knowledge
• High school diploma or GED, required

Job Conditions:

Working conditions include working in a retail setting with a computer, telephone, point-of-sale system and other office equipment. Other working conditions may include working alone, or in a busy retail venue with frequent interruptions. May have access to other management offices as needed to perform duties, as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time. Must maintain a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends.
