Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Oncology Product Marketing based in the United States.

We are seeking an experienced product marketing leader to shape the positioning, commercialization, and growth of an innovative oncology diagnostics portfolio. In this strategic role, you will lead product marketing from messaging and market insights through go-to-market planning and launch execution, helping bring advanced precision diagnostics to healthcare professionals and patients. You will translate complex clinical science into clear, compelling value propositions and practical commercial resources that support adoption and improve engagement. Working closely with Product Management, Sales, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams, you will ensure consistent messaging and effective execution across the customer journey. You will also leverage market research, competitive intelligence, and external stakeholder insights to identify opportunities and strengthen product differentiation. This is an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of precision medicine in a fast-paced, collaborative, and mission-driven healthcare environment.

Accountabilities
  • Lead product positioning and messaging: Develop differentiated product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and cross-functional marketing partners.

  • Own go-to-market strategy: Design and execute commercialization plans for new product launches, product enhancements, and portfolio initiatives, ensuring alignment across marketing, product, and commercial teams.

  • Translate complex science into compelling content: Turn sophisticated clinical and diagnostic information into clear, accessible marketing materials, including brochures, sales leave-behinds, presentations, trade show assets, advertisements, press releases, and other commercial collateral.

  • Drive market and competitive intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand customer needs, evolving industry trends, clinical developments, and opportunities for product differentiation.

  • Engage external stakeholders: Build relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, patient advocacy organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen product awareness, adoption, and loyalty.

  • Enable commercial teams: Serve as the primary product marketing resource for the field organization, equipping Sales and other customer-facing teams with effective messaging, resources, and product knowledge.

  • Coordinate cross-functional execution: Partner closely with Sales, Medical Affairs, Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure consistent communication, aligned priorities, and effective commercial delivery.

  • Use data to inform strategy: Interpret clinical, market, and customer insights to refine product value propositions, guide marketing decisions, and improve campaign and commercialization effectiveness.

  • Identify innovation opportunities: Monitor emerging product marketing practices in precision diagnostics, biotechnology, healthcare, and adjacent industries, incorporating relevant approaches to strengthen marketing performance.

  • Support continuous improvement: Evaluate market feedback and commercial performance to identify opportunities to improve messaging, sales enablement, product positioning, and future go-to-market plans.

  • Requirements:

    • At least 8 years of product marketing experience, with a proven record of developing and executing successful strategies in precision diagnostics, biotechnology, healthcare, or a closely related industry.

    • A bachelor's degree is required. A Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline is preferred.

    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex clinical and market data and translate findings into differentiated value propositions and commercial strategies.

    • Deep understanding of product marketing fundamentals, including positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning, competitive analysis, and market research methodologies.

    • Demonstrated experience developing data-driven marketing content and commercial collateral for healthcare products or other technically complex offerings.

    • The ability to communicate sophisticated scientific and clinical concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences, including healthcare professionals and commercial stakeholders.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities and the confidence to influence cross-functional partners.

    • Experience collaborating across Product Management, Sales, Medical Affairs, Customer Service, and other teams to deliver aligned marketing initiatives.

    • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    • A proactive, adaptable mindset and a genuine interest in advancing precision diagnostics and improving the way cancer is detected, monitored, and treated.

    • Benefits:

      • Base salary range: $179,507–$201,266 per year, with the final offer depending on experience and the candidate's selected compensation structure.

      • Eligibility for an annual corporate bonus program.

      • A new-hire equity grant valued at up to $85,000 at grant value, vesting over four years, with annual equity refresh grants equal in value to the initial grant, subject to applicable terms.

      • Potential total four-year compensation value of up to approximately $1.1 million, combining base salary, target bonus, and equity.

      • Multiple medical plan options, including select plans with 100% of employee premiums covered and dependent coverage of up to 80%.

      • Competitive dental coverage.

      • A retirement savings plan with a 4% employer match.

      • Generous paid family bonding leave of 16 weeks at 100% pay for eligible employees.

      • Supplemental fertility benefits coverage.

      • Paid time off that increases with tenure.

      • Access to modern work equipment, laboratory resources, and facilities.

      • An open and transparent culture, including regular company-wide town hall meetings.

      • The opportunity to work alongside talented, collaborative colleagues on diagnostic innovations with the potential to improve outcomes for patients worldwide.

      • A mission-driven environment focused on scientific innovation, precision medicine, and expanding access to transformative diagnostics.
