POSITION OVERVIEW

The Operations Crew Member is responsible for keeping our Upper and Middle School Campus clean, sanitary, safe and orderly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains both the exterior and interior school campus, classrooms, offices, and restrooms. 
• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and vacuum carpets and hard surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down furniture, counters, walls, glass, and high-touch areas
• Removes and, picks up trash, and maintains receptacles.
• Replenishes restroom supplies and fills dispensers.
• Stacks and stores furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Replaces light bulbs and makes minor, non-technical maintenance repairs.
• Event set-up and breakdown.
• Provides room reconfiguration support.
• Works with the Operations Department to fulfill various work order requests.
• Performs other related work duties as required.
• Follows strict guidelines for handling equipment, and storing cleaning chemicals, and Personal Protective Equipment 

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 6 months of prior experience in janitorial/operations work.
• Must pass a Livescan background check and TB Clearance.
• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with and around people in a positive and cooperative manner.
• Knowledge of and skills in handling cleaning equipment.
• Able to walk without difficulty over varied grounds and terrain, including stairs.
• Able to lift 40 pounds from a standing position.
• Able to lift objects overhead, pivot and return objects to original position.
• Knowledge of how to read warning labels, understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and handle cleaning chemicals safely

STANDARD ON CAMPUS HOURS

Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm 

*All schedules are subject to change. Occasional schedule adjustments may be needed to support school events and campus activities. Weekend work may also be required.

SALARY RANGE: $22.00 - $24.50 per hour
