Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Research Assistant is will support research activity efforts. Research Assistants will assist faculty in the collection and evaluation of research data.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
The Research Assistant works under the direct supervision of the study Principal Investigator or designee who assigns areas of responsibility and reviews results for compliance with established standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Conduction review of the literature
- Recruit study participants
- Collect study data
- Code and enter data in database
- Analyze data
- Prepare manuscript
- Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
Skills:
- Work without direct supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
