Assistant Childcare Professional

Job Purpose:
- The Assistant Childcare Professional at ACADEMY OF ART AND LEARNING CHILDCARE LLC is responsible for providing nurturing and attentive care to children, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that fosters their growth and development. This role requires a compassionate individual who can engage with children in a loving manner while maintaining a structured and timely routine.

Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and prepared to provide consistent and reliable care to children.
- Offer loving supervision and maintain a secure environment for all children in your care.
- Assist in implementing daily activities that promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual development of children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support the needs of the children and the goals of the childcare center.
- Demonstrate a high level of patience and understanding in all interactions with children.
- Ensure all activities and interactions comply with the center's policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance childcare skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in childcare settings
- Demonstrated ability to provide loving supervision and care to children

Required Skills and Abilities:
- High level of patience and understanding when interacting with children
- Strong time management skills to ensure punctuality and reliability
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children and collaborate with parents and colleagues
- Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities
