# **CDL-A Local Building Materials Driver – Fife, WA** Join a dedicated **local building materials account** delivering windows, doors, and related products throughout Washington and Oregon. This position offers **$86,000 average annual pay**, frequent home time, and yearly CPM increases. ### **Main Yard / Starting Location** **Milgard Distribution Center – Fife, WA** — deliveries originate from the Fife distribution center and serve customers throughout WA and OR. ### **Pay Details** - **$86,000 average annual gross** - **Approximately $1,654 average weekly pay** - Starting pay: **$0.61 CPM** - Yearly **$0.01 CPM increases** until reaching the maximum rate - Paid daily rate when running additional JBI loads - Paid hourly rate when performing yard/hostler work ### **Job Details** - Dedicated **building materials** account - Deliver windows, doors, and related products - Operate throughout **WA and OR** - Majority of deliveries made in straight trucks - Day cab with dry van trailer used as needed - Hand unload at customer locations - Average product weight around **80 lbs**, with some items up to **400 lbs** - Dollies provided for heavier products - Scan and verify products at each stop - Reposition load securement bars after deliveries - Customer communication and ETA updates required - Assist with yard/hostler work as needed - May assist other dedicated accounts approximately **2–3 times per month** ### **Shift Details** - **Monday-Friday** - **5:00 AM start** - Average **10–12 hour days** - Occasional Saturday work based on customer demand ### **Job Requirements** - Valid Class A CDL - **Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience** - Ability to repeatedly lift **80 lbs** - Comfortable with physical loading/unloading - Able to safely handle products weighing up to 400 lbs with assistance - Strong customer service skills - Comfortable using scanners and following delivery procedures - Willing to perform yard/hostler duties as needed - Willing to assist other dedicated accounts as needed - Must wear required uniform and PPE - Clean driving record - DOT Medical Card - No SAP drivers ### **Equipment & Benefits** - Automatic straight trucks and day cabs - Dry van trailers - Slip-seat operation - Trucks cannot be taken home - Uniforms and PPE provided - Yard/hostler training provided - Passengers and pets not permitted - Online orientation available
