Safe Exchange Monitor

Position: Safe Exchange Monitor
Pay: $17.50 / hour
Hours: Variable, 8 hours per month - Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
A Day in the Life:
As a Safe Exchange Monitor, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and respect of all participants in our Safe Exchange Program. You will oversee the safe and secure exchange of children between parents, acting as a neutral and supportive presence. Your attentiveness and respect for each family’s unique situation will help foster a secure environment where families feel valued and supported.

How This Position Contributes to our Mission

Supervise the safe exchange of children between family members, ensuring all interactions are conducted with care and professionalism.

Document exchanges promptly and ensure all information is accurate.
Protect the privacy of all family information in accordance with organizational and legal standards.
Commit to working a minimum of 8 hours per month, whether in one 8-hour shift or two 4-hour shifts.

Safe Exchange Monitor Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Willingness to gain knowledge in the field of domestic violence, with experience in this area being highly preferred.
Requires extended amounts of standing and walking, with occasional lifting and carrying of young children.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to effectively interact with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
