Family Nanny & House Manager

**Location:** Millbrae, CA 94030 *(Family anticipates relocating to the Portola Valley / Palo Alto area in the future; candidates must be open to commuting to that area)* **Employment Type:** Part-Time | 24 hours per week **Schedule:** **Compensation:** $50 - $55 per hour, based on experience **Start Date:** September 2026 We're an active Bay Area family with two young daughters (ages: 1 & 2 1/2) who are full of energy and curiosity. Both parents work full-time in fast-paced, demanding careers, so we’re looking for someone who can help bring consistency, organization and calm to our home. We also have a 3-year-old Golden Retriever who brings plenty of love and personality into our home. The day-to-day rhythm of childcare, laundry and meals is where we’re looking for the most support. On Fridays, we’re looking for dedicated house manager support to assist with day-to-day tasks. On the weekends, having an extra set of hands gives us the ability to tackle our to-do list, run errands, or simply be present as a family without scrambling to keep up. More than anything, we hope to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term presence in our home. We value professionalism, reliability, proactivity and a positive attitude. We’re looking for someone who takes genuine pride in supporting a family in their household. Should our family relocate to the Silicon Valley area in the future, we’d love to find someone who would be excited to support us in that transition and continue growing with our family for years to come. The ideal candidate is experienced, mature, and deeply reliable - reliability is, without question, the number one priority for our family. This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. The right person is a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their environment and anticipates what the family needs before being asked. You genuinely love working with young children and bring patience, creativity, and a learning-focused mindset to childcare. You're the kind of person who designs a simple sensory activity during nap-time prep and has the dishes done before the parents are home. You are warm, outgoing, and engaged - not just present. You can flex when plans shift unexpectedly, and you handle it with grace and professionalism. You're organized, communicative, and bring a calm, steady energy to a home that moves fast. You are a warm, engaged caregiver who enjoys supporting young children’s growth through play, learning, outdoor adventures and consistent routines.
