  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures while providing clear instructions and maintaining a high level of patient comfort and care.

  • Screen patients for MRI safety, contraindications, implants, medical history, and other relevant considerations.

  • Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively and recognize the need for protocol adjustments when appropriate.

  • Ensure images meet established quality standards and are appropriately documented and transmitted for interpretation.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

  • Follow all applicable facility policies, state and federal regulations, accreditation requirements, and radiation/MRI safety standards.

  • Perform or assist with other diagnostic imaging procedures within the individual's credentials, training, and scope of practice.

  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and imaging areas in a clean, safe, and professional condition.

  • Identify and communicate equipment or workflow issues to appropriate leadership.

  • Provide an exceptional patient experience from scheduling/preparation through completion of the examination.

Business Development & Referral Growth

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with physicians, clinics, healthcare organizations, athletic organizations, employers, and other potential referral sources.

  • Educate referring providers and their staff regarding available MRI and diagnostic imaging services, capabilities, scheduling, turnaround times, and patient experience.

  • Conduct regular outreach visits and follow-ups with referral partners.

  • Identify potential referral opportunities and communicate them to leadership.

  • Represent the organization professionally at physician offices, healthcare events, community events, and other appropriate settings.

  • Assist with presentations, educational materials, and outreach initiatives designed to increase awareness of diagnostic imaging services.

  • Gather feedback from referring providers and patients and communicate opportunities for improvement to leadership.

  • Track outreach activities, referral relationships, and business development opportunities as requested.

  • Work collaboratively with leadership and marketing personnel to develop strategies for increasing appropriate imaging volume.

  • Help identify barriers that may prevent physicians or patients from utilizing our imaging services and assist in developing solutions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing referral sources while cultivating new relationships.
