Bus Driver

Responsible for providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for residents of the senior living community to appointments, activities, outings, and other scheduled destinations. This position plays an important role in creating a positive resident experience by providing transportation with patience, kindness, and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Safely transport residents to and from scheduled destinations.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, including those using mobility devices, as appropriate.
• Maintain a welcoming, respectful, and patient environment for residents.
• Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and ready for resident transportation.
• Follow scheduled routes, community procedures, traffic laws, and safety requirements.
• Communicate transportation needs, delays, incidents, or resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet all Company driving and insurance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the community and resident experience.
