What You'll Do

The Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary areas throughout the facility using established Environmental Services procedures.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Perform routine cleaning using the 7-step cleaning procedure
• Clean patient rooms, including isolation and discharge cleaning
• Clean and disinfect assigned areas according to facility procedures
• Handle and remove trash, biohazardous waste, and sharps containers according to established safety procedures
• Replenish supplies such as paper products, soap, towels, batteries, and hand sanitizer
• Perform light cleaning and maintenance duties, including cleaning inside light fixture covers and air-conditioning vents
• Properly secure and maintain the Environmental Services cleaning cart
• Use wet-floor signs and other safety equipment appropriately
• Follow standard precautions and established infection-control and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Schedule

• PRN - As Needed
• 3 Days Per Week
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of previous housekeeping experience
• Previous healthcare or Environmental Services experience is a plus
• Ability to follow established cleaning and safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
