Medication Technician (Med Tech) – Night Shift | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Pay: $18.50–$20.00 per hour

Required Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Nights

10:00 PM–6:00 AM | 24 hours per week

Please review the schedule before applying. This position requires all three overnight shifts every week, starting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 PM and ending the following morning at 6:00 AM.

Maris Pointe is seeking a compassionate, dependable Medication Technician to join our overnight care team. Help our residents feel comfortable and supported while working a consistent three-night schedule in a welcoming senior living community.

What You Will Do

• Assist residents with medications according to physician orders, Florida requirements, and community policies.

• Provide care based on each resident’s individualized care plan.

• Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions.

• Document medication assistance, care, observations, incidents, and communications before the end of each shift.

• Share important resident information with the incoming shift.

• Assist with assessments and care plans as directed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• High school diploma or GED.

• Medication assistance training or certification that meets Florida requirements.

• Ability to reliably work every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning.

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care.

• One year of related experience preferred; senior living experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and meet the position’s physical requirements.
