KS1085 - Full-Time Live-Out Nanny - Westport, CT

Overview

A loving family living in Westport, CT, is seeking a live-out nanny to help care for their three-year-old child who is being released from the hospital and undergoing Chemotherapy.  This is a long-term position, and the family is seeking candidates who can commit for at least three years.  The next year will be filled with chemo treatments.  The schedule will be Monday through Friday.  Flexibility is a plus!  A nursing background is a huge plus!  This position is hiring immediately.

Responsibilities

• Daily childcare needs for a toddler
• Help with chemotherapy treatments and anything that results from the side effects of it
• Driving back and forth to dr and chemo appointments
• Meal prep for children, not adults
• Prior experience in early childhood education
• Early intervention
• A plus to understand pediatric care to support the son through this demanding period of treatment and recovery

Requirements

• Must be legal to work in the US
• Local or within a commutable distance to Westport, CT
• Background in nursing is a huge plus
• Clean and valid driver’s license

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering a competitive rate of $50-55/hr. depending on experience and nursing knowledge background.Benefits include:
