Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Motor Winders for projects located in or around Michigan City, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Motor Winder looking to learn and grow in your trade alongside the best Craft Professionals in the business, this is your chance to further your career!

Job Scope:

• Wind and rewind electric motors
• Remove old windings and prepare motors for repair
• Install coils, insulation, and related motor components
• Assist with motor disassembly and reassembly
• Inspect motor components for wear and damage
• Perform detailed repair work while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Previous motor winding experience preferred
• Candidates with 1–2 years of winding experience are encouraged to apply
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
