Building Substitute Teacher - Propel Montour Middle School (2026-2027)

Opportunity:

Propel Montour Middle School is currently seeking full-time Building Substitute Teacher to join our amazing team for the 2026-2027 school year. The Building Substitute Teacher will be responsible for covering day to day absences in the assigned building and absences for long term leaves. When covering for long term leaves, the Building Substitute Teacher will have the opportunity to act as the teacher of record, completing lesson plans and taking on all responsibilities as the teacher of record. At times, the Building Substitute Teacher may even fill in for permanent vacancies that occur, while the selection process is being completed. This role is a great opportunity to become familiar with propel school's culture and many different class settings. This will prepare you to eventually become a classroom teacher at Propel Schools. • Valid PA Teaching Certification (please upload your certification)

• Act 34 Criminal Clearance
• Act 114 FBI Clearance
• Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training
• Act 168 Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure
• Act 24 Arrest and Conviction Disclosure

Salary: $41,212.04 annually.
