AC Maintenance Tech, Bella Ridge North

1st Lake Properties is seeking a skilled and dependable AC Technician to join our maintenance team at our 264-unit upscale apartment community in River Ridge: Bella Ridge North.  We’re a locally owned and operated apartment management company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents — and we know that starts with a strong, professional maintenance team.

About the Role:
As an AC Technician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining air conditioning and heating systems. You’ll ensure all HVAC equipment operates safely and efficiently, helping to keep our residents comfortable year-round.  You will also perform electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs; as well as prepare apartments for new resident move ins.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including compressors, coils, and thermostats
• Perform preventive maintenance 
• Troubleshoot and resolve heating and cooling issues quickly and professionally
• Assist with general maintenance duties as needed, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs
• Respond to service requests and emergency calls in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications

• EPA certification to work with refrigerant required; We can assist with testing and certification.
• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Maintenance tools required; $500 tool allowance.
• Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation
