Lead Intake Admission Clinician– Lake Behavioral Hospital

Shift Differentials + a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

3x 12-hour shifts: 7:00pm – 7:30am Monday - Wednesday with 1 weekend per month

The Lead Intake Admission Clinician manages referrals and service requests, assesses individuals of all ages, and collaborates with physicians for appropriate care decisions. They assist with discharge planning under the Director of Admissions and Referrals and are the primary community contact, providing essential resources and support. Additionally, they support the case management program.

INTAKE ADMISSION CLINICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education & Education: Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in a human relations field required.
• Experience: Preferably two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice in Illinois as a mental health professional is preferred.
• Additional Requirements: A working knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam and of the Addiction and Recovery field.
