# Maintenance Lead **Location:** Bryan, TX **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM; occasional nights and weekends as needed ## Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical expertise, hands-on injection molding experience, and the ability to lead technical problem-solving efforts while minimizing equipment downtime. ## Responsibilities - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines, automation systems, conveyors, and material handling equipment. - Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues. - Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals. - Support PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and 480V electrical systems. - Perform preventive maintenance, equipment installations, and repairs. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and costs. - Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety procedures. - Provide technical guidance to maintenance and production teams. ## Qualifications & Requirements - Proven experience repairing plastic injection molding and automation systems. - Strong knowledge of 480V motor controls, AC drives, and electrical troubleshooting. - Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. - Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting experience. - Experience using machine shop tools, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. - Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and support occasional off-shift needs. **EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER:** Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
