PHARMACY TECH (PD - VARIABLE)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, or other nondiscretionary tasks related to the furnishing of drugs, while
assisting and under the direct supervision and control of a pharmacist. Fills and delivers the unit dose cassettes from the
patients' profile to nursing units.
 

Details: FTE: 0.3 (10 Hour Shifts) Variable (Day/PM)

• Variable Shift.  Days and Swing Shift (No Overnight).  

• 2-4 days per month availability 

• Days worked would also include weekends.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum Education High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associates / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Required Licenses:

• Pharmacy Technician Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy: Required (except Hawaii)
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred.
